An official website of the United States government.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is the standard used by Federal statistical
agencies in classifying business establishments for the purpose of collecting, analyzing, and publishing
statistical data related to the U.S. business economy. On the RCRA Subtitle C Site Identification Form,
sites must provide their primary NAICS using either a 5- or 6-digit NAICS code and any number of
secondary NAICS, however, for the purposes of this website, only the primary NAICS is used. The
Industry Report provides the number of sites that have a primary NAICS that starts with the NAICS code
specified, by NAICS code.
To produce the NAICS report, select a NAICS Code from the drop-down list OR type a 4 -,
5- or 6- digit NAICS into the text box. Also, select a location (State, Region, or National).
Click "Submit" to generate the report.
